Business Development Coordinator (BDC)

Location: Ridgefield, NJ

We are an innovative medical device and Healthcare/EMS solutions provider based in northern New Jersey with a rich 30-year history of excellence looking to fill an Inside Sales role and join our team.

In this position you’ll function as a Business Development Coordinator and sales support, providing a productive method to help GD gain more sales efficiency, ensure better control of our sales opportunities, keep moving our sales process forward effectively, and help our field sales team in spending more time selling and conducting face-to-face and phone meetings with prospects and customers. This activity of gaining “sales efficiency” is a high priority and GD company goal. The Business Development Coordinator works closely with the VP of Sales, as well as, NSMs, BDMs, and ISCs in an effort to help our field sales team better manage all of the administrative functions of their role and help them in moving opportunities forward through the sales process. Once a “suspect” or lead has been qualified and a first meeting/demo is completed the BDC will accept the hand-off of the opportunity from the field sales and the real fun begins and you will become a vital member of the team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accepts the account “hand-off and follow-up responsibility”, typically from field sales, or BDMs, NSMs, VP Sales.
  • Ability to set up accounts in CRM, create & edit accounts and opportunities, maintain and updates spreadsheets, manage calendars, and effectively use other tools implemented within our sales process.
  • Business development activities will be primarily focused on our core products, CAREpoint and e-Bridge, but may also include other company solutions associated or developed for customer needs.
  • Accept field reps “Call-in’s” and help collect the details of their most recent meeting or interaction. Your activities will include: Target Pipeline (CRM) detailed notes, sending “Thank you” emails following our process, sending of follow-up materials, follow-up communications, creating IRQs for quotes, scheduling follow-up meetings, scheduling proposal meetings, account “nurturing” with our main contact, purchasing, or other contacts.
  • Document all account and opportunity contact info and accurately take notes in company CRM.
  • Properly maintain our CRM and various reporting tools, spreadsheets and be available to review with VP of Sales, brainstorm strategies, access opportunities and work to bring to closure.
  • Update, maintain and improve messaging scripts, answers to objections, and networking techniques on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicate regularly with weekly reporting to VP Sales.
  • Build a team relationship with field sales and field organization as needed.
  • Work closely and constructively with GD home office team members including ISCs, CSR, Support, and marketing department.
  • Promote the GD culture and teamwork efforts with all interactions.

Implementation Technician

Be part of an innovative team as you travel the country!

We are a leader in medical technology based in Bergen County, NJ. Our medical equipment is used in hundreds of hospitals and thousands of EMS units in every market around the country. We are seeking a professional Implementation Tech to perform installations and training of our equipment in the field.

Our Implementation Tech will manage the planning of projects, travel to clients site to physically install hardware/wiring/peripherals and provide onsite training, testing, and support. Additional responsibilities include remote customer support, interacting with third-party contractors and IT departments, updating documentation and reporting and routine IT maintenance.

Our ideal candidate will have (required):

  • 4+ years demonstrated success in a technical installation capacity. Experience with low volt wiring, telephony, IT hardware/software installs, alarm installations a plus.
  • A customer service focus and the ability to establish rapport and good relationships.
  • PC and Windows operating systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to set up new Windows devices (printer install, preferences, settings)
    • IT Networking knowledge – IP addressing, domain, proxy
  • Basic telecom skills – connecting phone lines and troubleshooting issues (provisioning, etc)
  • Ability to travel nationwide more than 50% of the time.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to train clients to use our hardware and systems.
  • Strong time management and planning skills.
  • The discipline to adhere to strict HIPAA guidelines while documenting and performing installation projects and training.
  • Integrity, honesty and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • The ability to pass a background check.

This is a full time, W2 employee position reporting to our VP of Technical Services. The position is based out of our Ridgefield, NJ facility and remotely from installation sites around the country.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
Medical benefits, 401k and paid time off are also offered.  All travel expenses are covered.

Developing new leads, conducting needs investigations, solution and product demos and proposals to key hospital personnel and execs are the primary duties of the role. Success in this position is achieved through employment of critical sales skills including: networking, relationship development, managing/updating CRM, managing regional sales funnel and more with the goal of meeting and exceeding your sales forecast.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years demonstrated success in a field business development sales role to hospital/medical centers, EMS, capital equipment or SaaS sales.
  • A college degree in sales, marketing, communication, psychology or related field.
  • Experience & proficiency developing relationships and selling up/down organization from staff to C-level executives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time including conferences and trade shows.
  • The discipline and technical proficiency to maintain a consistent schedule and document all activities in CRM system.
  • Integrity, transparency and a willingness to grow.
  • A demonstrated work ethic and attention to detail.

We are an innovative medical device and healthcare solutions company based in Bergen County, NJ seeking the right candidate for our available Inside Sales role.

As an Inside Sales Consultant, you will act as a business development professional (door opener) responsible for outbound sales; researching, emailing, networking, and calling against a targeted prospect list with the purpose of generating initial sales meetings for our field sales team.

This is not telemarketing but is both cold and warm calling.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Perform business development, door opening and outbound sales initiatives.
  • Document all prospect opportunity contact info and accurately take notes in company CRM.
