RIDGEFIELD, NJ,- June 20, 2022: General Devices, a medical technology company that specializes in mobile telemedicine and telehealth, today announced that Darin Helkowski has joined the GD team as the newest Regional Manager of the Southeast Region this June.
Darin has a large background in being an EMS first responder which allows him to understand the challenges faced by healthcare teams and will help him demonstrate how telehealth communication solutions can solve those challenges. His passion for healthcare began early in his life. What started out as having a few saves as a lifeguard at the age of 16, led him down the path to becoming a cadet at the local fire department, an EMT, a firefighter paramedic, an EMS coordinator upgrading his emergency department with CAREpoint Workstation, and now a Regional Manager at GD. Darin is “really excited to share this technology and its capabilities all over the Southeast”.
At GD, Darin will be an integral part of leading discoveries on the innovations that help save time, money, and lives. “There is so much potential and opportunity to save time for our patients; in healthcare, time is life, time is brain and time is muscle.
