FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RIDGEFIELD, NJ – Sept. 23, 2020 – EMS professionals can learn more about the General Devices (GD) e-Bridge mobile telemedicine app at the 1st Annual Hartford Healthcare EMS Symposium on Sept. 26, 2020; where General Devices is a premier partner of the event.

The symposium will be held at the state-of-the-art Center for Education, Simulation and Innovation (CESI) on the Hartford Hospital campus in Connecticut. In-person attendees will be split into groups to attend case study lectures, as well as hands-on simulation that will be applicable for both basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) providers. In addition, virtual learning will be available for the case study lectures free of charge. Attendees can earn eight continuing medical education (CME) credits.

All lectures and simulated experiences will be led by SME providers from the Ayer Neuroscience Institute, Heart and Vascular Institute, Behavioral Health Institute, LIFE STAR, Windham Hospital and Charlotte Hungerford Paramedic teams, as well as leaders from trauma, emergency medicine and more.

While attending, Connecticut EMS professionals can also learn more about GD e-Bridge, a secure mobile telehealth app that connects EMS and hospital providers, in new ways, for improved continuity of care. GD e-Bridge enables live communications between and among EMS crews, medical directors and hospital teams by sharing pictures, audio, video and live streaming to manage heart attacks, stroke, trauma and even treat and release on-scene.
