NJBIZ, New Jersey’s leading coverage on business news, searched for the nation’s biggest innovations in the digital technology world. On May 14, 2019, GD’s VP of Technical Services & Support, Jimmy Nejmeh was awarded the 2019 NJ Digi-Tech Innovation Award from NJBIZ.
The NJ Digi-Tech Innovators Award showcases talented individuals who introduced significant innovations in the technology and digital space, thus contributing significantly to the productivity and performance of their organizations. Jimmy works with GD’s hospital and EMS customers and end users to identify new features and improvements with their innovative digital communications and mobile telemedicine solutions.
Most recently, Jimmy worked with a New Jersey hospital customer to develop an end-to-end workflow process for managing different types of acute care patients being transported in from Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers in the field, into the Emergency Department (ED) at the hospital and then quickly moved throughout the various departments within the hospital to expedite treatment. The whole care team can now quickly and effectively communicate HIPAA secure data with one another as well as review data metrics and documented patient cases.
